ANAN University Business School (ABS) is an innovative effort of the ANAN University Kwall, Nigeria, established as a non profit private university with a mission to provide professionals and researchers the modernity driving leading educational institutions in this 21st century world. The university is licensed by the National Universities Commission in Nigeria and is the making of the Association of National Accoutnants of Nigeria (ANAN) which is Africa’s leading body of professional accountants established in 1979 with the unique mandate of ‘advancing the science of accountancy’.

Our Programmes

ACADEMIC (RESEARCH) PROGRAMMES ABS has established two departments for now; the Accounting and Applied Management departments and in each department, we have academic and professional courses.

PROFESSIONAL (TAUGHT) PROGRAMMES

Professional programmes in the School are tailored towards bridging the gap between different theory and practice, and to provide additional professional training with practical orientation. They are designed for participants who seek to remain relevant in their changing work environments.

Programme Design and Structure

The Executive and Graduate Diploma Programmes are structured to be rigorous yet flexible. Programmes are offered in two tracks:

Executive Diploma Programmes

Duration: 4 Months
Structure: 4 Courses (2 Core + 2 Specialisation Courses)
Target Participants: Mid-level professionals, specialists, career switchers
Delivery Mode: Hybrid / Online / Weekend

Graduate Diploma Programmes

Duration: 6 Months
Structure: 6 Courses (3 Core + 3 Specialisation Courses)
Target Participants: Advanced professionals, business leaders, technocrats
Delivery Mode: Hybrid / Online / Blended

Learning Model

Each course includes live webinars, recorded lectures, case studies, and practical assignments.
Learning materials are accessible via the ABS Learning Management System (LMS).
All programmes conclude with a Capstone Project where students develop a real-world solution, policy recommendation, or innovation blueprint.

The speed at which learning happens in the 21st Century coupled with the very influence of technology in the life itself motivates our drive to establish the uniquely designed ANAN University Business School (ABS). At ABS, we built a resilient and learner centered environment for serious learning and life.

The School is coded with the philosophy of redefining learning to enable the process of discovering students’ unique talents take course. This signifies our commitment to treating all our students and partners with individual care and precision in identifying their needs.

Our learning environment is an advanced one guided by innovative and perpetually updated curriculum to achieve the goal of successful delivery of the needed skill-sets and talents. The peculiar approach we adopt in reaching and satisfying those we serve makes us a one-of-a-kind institution to reckon with.

Leadership

ABS is overseen by the Vice Chancellor of the University Prof. M.I. Fodio and guided by the Advisory Board Chaired by Prof. S.A.S. Aruwa. Activities of the School are overseen by the Management Team headed by the Executive Director Dr. Halidu Ibrahim Saidu.
